Wharves Limited, Security Administrators Limited as well.
What are the opening hours of HCS?
Mondays – Fridays - 8:00 to 5:00pm
Arrangements can be made for work to be done outside
of these hours, but this will be subject to an overtime charge
Is HCS a bonded refrigerated warehouse?
Harbour Cold Stores Limited is a bonded refrigerated warehouse.As a bonded warehouse, imported commodities can be moved to HCS for inspection by the Jamaica Customs for storage prior to being released for the trade.

Shipping lines and their agents; refrigeration equipment manufacturers
and distributors; importers and exporters; multinational food processors and
distributors; wholesalers and retailers; hotels, restaurants and fast food
operators; local food manufacturers and food processors.
How are charges applied for the services the company offers?
In the cold storage operations, charges are applied on the
basis of store and bill, fees for related services and short term or long term
rental and leases of refrigerated facility.In our technical services operations charges are set based on industry
standards or as negotiated.
Which government agencies are involved in the company’s operation?
Harbour Cold Stores Limited, being a bonded warehouse, a food handling establishment and a cold storage operation has it's activities regulated by a number of government agencies. These include the Quarantine and Food and Infestation Division of the Ministry of Agriculture, the Jamaica Customs Department, the Public Health Department, and the Jamaica Bureau of Standards. The relevant departments within the Ministry of Finance is responsible for tax compliance issues.
